SMALL GROUP CLASSES ON THE MAT, USING ALL SMALL EQUIPMENT(RINGS, FOAM ROLLER,BALL) (8 PEOPLE MAXIMUM) PRECISE AND SMOOTH MOVEMENTS THAT HELP DISCOVER THE STRENGTH OF THE BODY BUT ALSO OUR WEAKNESSES.

  • The major advantage of Pilates Mat exercises is the the ability to increase the strength of the stabilizing muscles and to give elasticity and flexibility to the spine and all the joints.

    • These are specific exercises, inspired by different kinds of exercise like gymnastics, yoga etc., which are combined with specific breathing rhythm.
    • A repertoire of exercises with a few repetitions succeeding with flow, one another. A fluid and graceful body movement that gives kinesthetic agility.
    • An exercise that is not only a simple workout to increase muscle strength but also improves mood. It Increases blood circulation and thus stimulating the whole organism and hence more energy during the day.
    Magic circle (pilates ring), balls, bosu, elastic bands, spine corrector and small weights, are the small equipment that we use in Pilates Mat Classes , to support and challenge us.

GROUP MATCLASSES ARE RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NO SERIOUS INJURIES, WHO LIKE THE SOCIAL ASPECT OF A CLASS ENVIRONMENT AND WHO CAN COMMIT TO A SCHEDULED TIME EACH WEEK.

They are organized by ability level, from beginner to advanced. All classes are 60 minutes duration.

• In beginning level you will learn the fundamentals of pilates, practice the correct technique for ensuring that you are always working from your core, understand how to move correctly.

• In Intermidiate and Advanced levels, having established sound core stability, you will begin to challenge that stability with more and more dynamic movement. You will incorporate “classical pilates” exercises into the class,working at a pace that establishes stamina, continual movement and ensures that every muscle of the body is both stretched and strengthened.
